Trouble with mouse wheel (Developers)

I try to read the mouse wheel data from the ctmouse driver. Although I tried it on three different PCs I did not succeed.

When I call int 33/0011 I can read 0x574D in AX. But BX always returns 0x160000. So no mouse wheel is detected, since bit zero is zero.

I tried a PS/2 mouse with wheel and a USB mouse (support enabled in BIOS) with wheel as well.

Any suggestions?

I am not home and can't analyze your problem now but have you loaded CTmouse with /O parameter? (/O enables wheel support; otherwise it is disabled)

Thank you Laaca, I was not aware of this parameter. Now I can retrieve the wheel data.

In your defense, I vaguely recall that this was changed in later versions because otherwise, if enabled by default, it would hang some machines. Most apps don't use the wheel anyways, so it was probably a wise choice.
