7-zip archiver 15.09, CURL, WGET from Michael Kostylev (Announce)

Hi,
Michael Kostylev sent me link to his build of 7ZA, CURL and WGET:
http://mik.dyndns.pro/tmp/
Maybe it would be good to reupload it somewhere else as it's in temp now.

7-Zip 15.14 (2015-12-31) is latest official (stable) version.

But the p7zip dudes did finally update as well (2016-03-13):

https://sourceforge.net/projects/p7zip/files/p7zip/15.14/p7zip_15.14_src_all.tar.bz2/download

So, feel free to ping M.K. to (re)build it.

7zdec 15.14 (from LZMA SDK)

It may seem pointless ("just do it yourself"), but I did grab 7zdec sources (from LZMA SDK 15.14) and rebuilt it with DJGPP for FreeDOS:

1). 7zdec1514.zip (2.05, GCC 5.30)
2). 7zdec1514-djgpp203p2.zip

The idea was mainly to replace the aging 9.22 version (five years old, although I'm not honestly aware of any obvious improvements).

I preferred a modern build and not using an ancient compiler, but I do still consider GCC 2.95.3 / DJGPP 2.03p2 a good classic, so I rebuilt with that as well, just in case anybody needed a smaller build for old floppies or such.

It is debatable whether I should've just lumped them all into one .ZIP, but I didn't figure it was worth it.

No change in p7zip [sic], but upstream 7-Zip is now at 16.04 (since 2016-10-04).

But Mik did update a lot of stuff recently, e.g. p7zip 16.02, curl 7.50.1, and wget 1.18.

With the 16.02 and 15.09 DOS binaries, I've again stumbled into the UNIX-compile bug whereby all standard deflate .zip archives created will not extract with Pkware's own Pkunzip utilities. I get the message "You need Pkzip version 78.8 to extract." I posted about this years ago,

http://www.bttr-software.de/forum/forum_entry.php?id=8418

and found a solution by a quick-and-dirty patch to the 7ZA.EXE file so that 0x03 'UNIX' descriptor byte was set to the proper 0x00 'MS-DOS' Operating System.

I'm unable to accomplish this with the above 15.09 or 16.02 binaries. I'm wondering if a new compile will be nessary, as I can't locate the magic bytes 0x03 ---> 0x00 to modify.

We have a simple flag being set incorrectly, and this is indeed hard to troubleshoot. It's a UNIXism which is a carryover to these compiles. Certainly PKware's own PKZIP archiver SHOULD be able to decompress 7zip .zip files correctly! This is a stubborn bug.

Perhaps someone more adept than I can re-compile with the flag correctly set? I'm at my wit's end.
