seems to work ...

usage: mutool <command> [options]
        clean   -- rewrite pdf file
extract -- extract font and image resources
info    -- show information about pdf resources
poster  -- split large page into many tiles
show    -- show internal pdf objects

... except "poster" ???

NOT a big problem ;-)

Kick it :-)

BTW, the "ISO7185.PDF" file is NOT scanned ... the pixel images are generated and the HTML explains (partially) the OCR story :-)

The "PAS1973.PDF" is scanned.

IIRC the XPDF DGJPP packages never had a PDFTOPPM binary long ago when the author provided them at all ... and the Win32 binary doesn't work with HX (RTFW) :hungry:

You mean 16 bppc PNG (so 16 or 48 or 64 bits total) ? Untested.

Or a DPMI-free PNG viewer ? PictView.

Or a 8086 compatible one ? :-( (but no 8086 PDF tool either)

Get a bigger recycle bin :-)

This is not an argument against PNG :-)

This is a LOGITECH mouse driver, but some software expect here
the following string:*** This is Copyright 1983 Microsoft ***
