GARBO archive closed for good Sat 24/Nov/2012 (Announce)

Missed this last year but I see that there was a thread on vintage-computer.com:

"An important note: The workstation hosting Garbo at the University of Vaasa, Finland, has broken down in 2012. This is final. The university's ICT Management informs that the broken workstation will not be replaced. Thus the Garbo library has ceased to exist. The relevant copyrights, however, are not released."

Source: Prof. Timo Salmi Garbo page (retired 1st of September 2011).

Thank you Professor Salmi and Vaasa University, GARBO was a good resource.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I now have entire archive downloading to be 'saved for posterity' ;-)
