Hi,
I made new build of my FFMPEG & x264 package:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffmpeg-x264-dos/files/
Also updated:
* LibOGG 1.3.2
* compiled by GCC 4.8.4, djdev 2.04 CVS --- DOS gives me freedom to unlimited HW access. |

Thanks, RayeR, for continuing to provide the latest DOS ports of FFMPEG.
One question, is using GCC 4.8.4 necessary to compile the source, or can an earlier version of the GCC compiler be used? Does compiling with v4.8.4 increase bloat? How is it better than earlier versions? Just curious if you know, thanks. |

GCC 4.8.4 is just a minor bugfix of 4.8.x line no bloat increase compared to GCC 4.9.x that I observed a little bit. Probably older version of GCC 4.x.x can be used as well but for FFMPEG you need updated djdev from cvs and some other fix like increased transfer buffer for ar.exe, rm.exe, ld.exe... to accept ultra long command line and maybe some other tricks, I described something in readme.txt in source package... --- DOS gives me freedom to unlimited HW access. |
