DOS ain't dead

The Dungeon Crawl "Stone Soup" developers have released 0.3.1 (a variant, not quite a fork, of the original) on 3 November 2007.

Quick tips: rest a lot, run away if overpowered, start with an easy class (I like Minotaur Berserker), learn all the common single keys (Zap, Fire, Quaff, Read, Wield, Ability), put on better armor, don't go too deep too fast, and (most importantly) have fun! You will die a lot, that is normal.
