Adlib tracker II (Announce) |
It is not really announcement of new release but it is very cool program though.
The last version is from June 2007 so it is not so old.
And it is written in Freepascal

You're right, that's not old, that's new (for us, anyways). Looks very cool, too!
(BTW, it only comes with FPC srcs for the main playback routine, simplified, but the site claims full srcs could become available if desired.) |

Nice tracker with a lot of nice tunes :)
It also works under DOS on my SB live crippled emulation :)

Note that I haven't used this lately (if barely at all), and I only accidentally noticed this:

SF.net files are long gone, but version 2.3.56 has been released on 2017-07-01 at http://www.adlibtracker.net/downloads.php.
Building from sources requires "FPC 2.6.x (with GO32V2) or higher". ---

I could be wrong, but I believe this was due to disagreement with the way the (old) owners of SF.net behaved. Since it's under newer ownership since then, the "problem" is most likely corrected.

Haven't tried, but awesome!
EDIT: AT2/REVISION.TXT says this:
