DOS ain't dead

The latest "real" version of UMBPCI is 3.79.

Versions 3.80 and 3.81 have only to do with adding "unsupported" chipsets.

I have several ATOM netbooks. ATOM chipsets are not supported by UMBPCI.

So my question is WHAT TO DO, ANOTHER UTILITY?

I don't want to go back to EMM386.

what about JEMM?

Just a word of caution here. UMBPCI is not a panacea, even if the chipset on your particular computer is supported. The UMB's provided by UMBPCI are mostly incompatible with DMA, so won't work with some other programs like USB drivers or some disk caching programs. In addition, UMBPCI will almost always provide far less upper memory than a "real" EMM does. UMBPCI is certainly a practical solution in certain scenarios, but has some distinct limitations.

And did you mailed the author asking for adding a support for this new chipsets?

JEMM is working just fine on 3 of my systems.

Now I have EMS memory too.
And I want to make use of it.

Is there any way to load things like drivers or tsr's
into EMS. I have slightly not enough upper memory and
a few small things are still loading low.

AFAIK EMS was mostly used for very old DOS apps so if you don't have any that require EMS, you can simply turn if off.
