FLTK programs we would happy to see (Users) |
Georg shows us that the conversion of FLTK based programs into DOS is possible. Which other programs would be cool to convert?
I think we extremely need some graphical FTP client. In DOS we have only commandline driven FTP clients but nothing more. Sure, under HX-DOS we can launch FAR commander which claims to do FTP transfers. But due a some reason under DOS/HX-DOS only directory browsing works but the FTP uploading and downloading does not.
So, some graphical FTP client (with LFN support) is necessary --- DOS-u-akbar! |

The latest version of Dillo allows to download files from a FTP site. I am not aware of a FTP client for Linux with a FLTK GUI.

Arachne can upload and download by FTP.
But I agree - a graphical, stand-alone FTP client for DOS would be very useful. --- AUSREG Consultancy http://www.ausreg.com

I will try to add FTP upload to Dillo.
But in general anybody is welcome to use FLTK for DOS to make applications like that.
