FreePascal (FPC) for DOS ?? (Announce)

Oops, almost forgot to ask: what's the deal with this lately?

* http://www.bttr-software.de/misc/fpc/ (2.2.0-pre3, Sep. 28)
* ftp://ftp.freepascal.org/pub/fpc/beta/2.2.0a/go32v2/ (2.2.0a, Oct. 2 w/ MAKEDOS.ZIP from Nov. 7)
* ftp://freepascal.stack.nl/pub/fpc/snapshot/v20/i386-go32v2/ (2.0.5 ??)

The latter is what I'm mostly curious about:

File: fpc-2.0.5dos.zip    10036 KB        11/25/2007      1:32:00 AM

No progress. Pierre Muller didn't reply to my mails. Good bye, FPC@DOS. :-|

He's probably just busy. Most people seem to have lots of projects going on at once. I'm highly doubtful that they'd drop the DOS port.
