Japanese DOS tools (Announce) |
I accidentaly found a page with LunarEMM memory manager and many other DOS tools. They all are from Japan and have documentation only in japan.
I also sent email to author but got no response.

The tool listed in that page are for PC-9801/9821 which is not IBM-PC compatible(they call IBM-PC compatible machine as "DOS/V" in the time) |

What code page did Microsoft use for Japan? I remember getting some old DOS tools in Japanese, but instead of kanji, I got garbage. Well, hypotetical question only. I wouldn't understand it eiter way. |

In DOS they use their Font Driver and Display Driver to switch to graphic mode and display katakana, hiragana, and kanji. |
