New version of FastTracker II (Announce) |
I don't have any musical skills so I've never created any music including the tracked music in formats like MOD, XM, S3M and so on.
But I was aware about FastTracker and ImpulseTracker.
The FastTracker was abandoned for years (stucked in version 2.09) but now the new version was released - version 2.11 from May-2020.

Impulse Tracker has already been open-sourced in 2014 on Bitbucket.

No sources will be available, though. But it's still cool. |

Interesting, it also contains a lot of soundcard drivers. But every module is ~60kB of ASM :\. Some ASM guru could write a module for iHDA or EMU10k :) --- DOS gives me freedom to unlimited HW access. |
