new freedos distribution (Announce)

Currently I use Windows as a development environment
for PDOS/386.

But I have just made use of the latest Freedos beta
to set it up so that it can build PDOS/386. To do
that it needs to be able to run gccwin which relies
on msvcrt.dll. I provide my own msvcrt.dll with just
C90 functions in it, plus HX, so I can run gccwin.

The distribution can be found at http://pdos.org

I was able to burn this hard disk image to USB
stick and successfully make changes to PDOS, with
no other operating system (Windows/Linux) involved.

Although PDOS/386 is self-hosting to some extent,
it is not as robust or complete as Freedos+HX.
