However, my enthusiasm is a bit limited. I once tried to build 386SWAT, but failed. It's a horrible source.

I had hoped you would notice. While it it might not be ideal, I hope there are lessons that could be extracted at least, that provide inspiration for improving JEMM and your other works.

can help to improve some other project you're working on ?

I doubt that this 20+ years old memory managers would be any kind helpful at least on moder PC systems...

I forget where I read it, but supposedly 386MAX is the only non-MS/IBM EMM that fully supports the GEMMIS 1.0 spec which cleanly allows a Windows 3.x instance to take over the memory management, and, better IO trapping.
