I wouldn't read into this too much. He probably just wants somewhere to put his latest files. I don't think it means he's restarting CC386 development, for instance.

It's at least an opportunity to grab files that weren't on the earlier replacement site. I didn't notice anything new, and there is no info at all on continuing development of CC386.
