I created and uploaded the version 1.1

Except the ideas you mentioned I also added a command line parameter /G which switches off the ASCII -> unicode conversion but replaces the extended ASCII chars by "_". In this mode the .TBL filters in the \KEY_TBL\ subdirectory are not requiered.
