I downloaded it. I tried to get it to run.

It failed to find a loaded packet driver when loaded as links -g,
and complained
1: could not find c:\vgalib.cfg
2: did not recognise my video card (Diamond stealth 2 MB boosted to VESA 2).

It also generated a large file GMON.OUT

wtf is GMON.OUT ?

But it DID run, and go on-line, when run as text only.
