usb-memory-drivers (Users)

posted by andrea936 E-mail, 24.08.2011, 17:29

my experience:

1) I still use the (old) Mahiru/Panasonic driver: it works fine & easy with
on-board usb ports and on ext. usb ports-cards - BUT only with flash memory not over 2 gb ( I'd probe kingston and Sandisk ). Doesn't read the ext. usb HD

2) WITH FLASH MEMORY UPPER 2gb ( EX, cruzer blade 4 gb) I use dosusb20
from Potthast, working fine with ext. usb HD too - but only in usb
on mainboard.

-- in 1) and 2) desappears the cd/dvd letter

3) with USBEXFAT driver I can load flash memory upper 2 gb, the cd/dvd letter
doesn't disappear - BUT only in on-board Usb ports.

4) instead I am not able to work with Bretus driver: anytimes seems to load,
but ususlly I have to reboot.

I'd probe the drivers in different PC/MAIN/CHIPSETS but always with the same result

regards andrea
