I got confirmed that FFMPEG compiled by GCC 4.6.2 works on AMD K6-II too. Even if binary contains a lot of CMOV but it's propably some dead code that is never called. So I'm happy that new gcc works for old machines.

BTW just see new GCC 4.7.0 is here http://ap1.pp.fi/djgpp/gcc/4.7.0/
