Thanks ... the Corpus Delicti does not even have USB mouse emulation ... and USB keyboard emulation was already OFF, and no USB device plugged in.

bad with OFF and good with ON ?

I never use such stuff.
I tested on another PC, problem does NOT occur.
I doubt that it is related to USB, as USB is actually completely off, but something bad between MPXPLAY and the BIOS. Unfortunately I can't update the BIOS as the latest and best one is already installed. The previous version completely rejected the CPU, the PC reliably froze immediately after switch ON
