DOS ain't dead

Yesterday my web-hosting service announced to me, that they plan to migrate the whole BTTR website (including the "DOS ain't dead" forum) to a new server in June 2017.

The new server will be faster, of course, but also have more recent versions of PHP and MySQL. These PHP/MySQL upgrades could cause some major issues for source code made nearly 10 years ago. ("DOS ain't dead" runs my little forum version 1 from 2008.)
I already contacted my service provider's technical support to register for a test account on the new server.
