FYI: RARLab still has https://www.rarlab.com/rar/unrarsrc-3.9.10.tar.gz and https://www.rarlab.com/rar/rarx393.exe.

Did you ever test if using other GCC versions or -march/-mtune settings makes any difference in performance while unpacking?
("unrarsrc-3.9.10.tar.gz" can be build with GCC up to the latest DJGPP version 8.20.)
