I don't know if you can (correctly) load device drivers.

if so, I recommend SOFT-ICE, which you should be able to find on the internet.

it is by far superior than anything you could write yourself.

while it was commercial software for $386, it's abandonware now. And it was worth every single cent !!

how about tracing program execution (in a memory range) to memory, breaking when a certain location is reached or read or written to, or a certain interrupt executed, then look back where and why this code came from.

really highest recommended.
