On older HW, be happy.

You can change resolution with eg: -zoom -x 1024 -y 768 but it will break aspect ratio

Yes. Try to play with -vsync -double -nodouble options. For me -nodouble gives best result but still not 100% smooth

DOS gives me freedom to unlimited HW access.
