So far I tested it with my AWE32 on 3 machines:

- P3, 500 MHz, Slot 1, 512 MB: everything works smoothly
- P1, 200 MHz, Socket 7, 128 MB, Dallas chip with dysfunc battery: works well, but DOS/4G apps need JemmEx ( or rather: JHDPMI ).
- AMD5x86, 133 MHz, 64 MB: AWE32 is very noisy, but at least MegaMid works; all DOS-extended apps caused exceptions ( both DOS/4G and HDPMI ) - however, this happened even without AWE32 being activated, so probably a memory issue; didn't invest too much time to elaborate...
