Those old versions still will check if the address region is usable. Problem are ROMs that may be mapped in dynamically - i.e. "legacy" support for USB drives.

:-D The current v5.86 was released just a few weeks ago. Two fixes for relatively minor issues don't justify any updates, IMO.
