Hm, I don't see a reason to be dedicated DOS HW. As every CF card supports TrueIDE mode it is 100% compatible with IDE HDD so it will work in any OS. The same for GPRS modem which communicate via AT commands. Iteresting is that MP3 decoder on LPT. But in Czech Rep. it's still bad with electronic components so you pay for the MP3 decoder IC more money that for complette pocket MP3 player, little bit paradox but sad truth...
