Just from personal experience, I can tell you that over the years I have had many, many 1.44M floppies die on me, but can't ever remember a 360k floppy going bad. I just tested one of my 360k floppies (at least 20 years old) and it worked fine. I've never really used 720k or 1.2M floppies very much, so can't speak for them. |
