MediaInfo working with HX! (Users)

Hey. I just downloaded the latest MediaInfo command-line version
0.7.50:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/mediainfo/files/binary/mediainfo/

... and it WORKS with HX in real DOS! (I'm using MS 7.1, HX
2.17). Last i remember, it didn't, so i just wanted to give
everyone a heads up.

Note that if you have the MediaInfo.exe and MediaInfo.dll files
(like this with long names), DOSLFN is required. In this case,
you have to use the DOS short name alias: MEDIAI~1 filespec

Yuk!

A simple trick makes DOSLFN unnecessary -- just rename *both*
files to MEDIAINF:

ren mediai~1.* mediainf.*

Alternatively, just extract the files (PKZip or Info UnZip) in
real DOS without DOSLFN resident, and they'll come out the
truncated 8.3 version (with no tildes): MEDIAINF.EXE and
MEDIAINF.DLL.

Either way, you don't have to hack any filenames within the EXE
or DLL -- the truncated 8.3 names work fine! In this case, use:
MEDIAINF filespec

None of the other files in the archive are necessary.

I've been using it for centuries ... but it needs HX 2.17 pre ... truncing out the "O" ("Ml.EXE" + "MEDIAINF.DLL") and for EDR-DOS also UI21DEB ;-)
