I only see 2.39, is that compatible with 2.40? (Sorry, didn't try, sorry!)

I admit I haven't heavily tested it very much lately. I usually use it when piecemeal updating a dir tree, but I don't do that very often. (I hate to admit, but perhaps I should start using RCS.)

Anyways, I did upload the main .ZIPs (bin, src) to iBiblio for you and update the .LSM. I wasn't sure about mirroring 2.39 (or its plugins), so I didn't. Feel free to suggest otherwise.

There is a minimum version, which only change if the config file change. In this case a Tab Size was added to the config in v2.39, so this means that the old config becomes obsolete. This is passed as arguments to the plugin, and makes this obsolete as well.

A piecemeal it is and also intended to be. However, the combination with search and edit is handy, but the replace functionality needs some fixing. I like to expand this to search and replace multiple files continuously.

Thanks.
No need to update 2.39.

At http://sourceforge.net/projects/doszip/files/Plugins/
I found two plugin archives, dz7za239.zip and dzarj239.zip.
They are identical, and both contain dz7za.dll, so there is
no ARJ plugin.
AFAIK the plugins are not updated, at least not on SourceForge.

The Doszip Commander version 2.41 available

Download: https://sourceforge.net/projects/doszip/files/

There was a few more bugs in the editor and in the Make List function.
This is used by the plugins to make list files for copying, so that didn?t work.

A simple dialog for compress and decompress is added.
This passes list files to external programs.

[Compress]
00=7Z  - 7-Zip (C) Igor Pavlov
01=ARJ - ARJ (C) Robert K. Jung
02=RAR - RAR (C) E. Roshal
...
; extension (02=) is only used for the default.7z file name in the dialog
[7Z  - 7-Zip (C) Igor Pavlov]
00=7za u -y -scsDOS
02=.7z

; default for list is @<list>, ARJ uses !<list>
[ARJ - ARJ (C) Robert K. Jung]
00=arj u -jm -y
01=!
02=.arj

[Decompress]
00=7Z  -- 7-Zip (C) Igor Pavlov
01=ARJ -- ARJ (C) Robert K. Jung
...
; normaly <target directory>\ is the last argument, 7-Zip uses switch ?o<directory>
[7Z  -- 7-Zip (C) Igor Pavlov]
00=7za x -y -scsDOS
01=-o

[ARJ -- ARJ (C) Robert K. Jung]
00=arj x -y

Changes in 2.41 - 07 Dec 2012
- fixed bug in Setup -- Editor options
- fixed bug in Make List -- directories: plugins (Add) failed
- added Compress dialog (Alt-F5)
- added Decompress dialog (Alt-F6)
