links 2.9 enanched source released (Developers)

Hi,

Mikulas have released for test purpose the source of current deveopping of links .

It still reports itself as 2.9, but it has some advancements - libevent
for socket handling and openmp for image scaling. Try it and report if it
works for you.

I've found 2 issues :

in file DOS.C 781 : 49 : must be remove unnecessary bracket ) at end of line

after building the program work fine in local (on dive c:\ or others drives), but if try to serf web sometime i receive an error

TCP/IP shuthdown : segmentation violation ( conflict with socket and other wattcp files?)

Please report results and suggestion to MIK

I mentioned that it seems faster than the previous Links 2.9,

Mikulas replied:
"It is faster because it uses keepalive on HTTPS connections."

So far it has performed without any problems at all.
Even accepts my additions for RSS and Youtube without a hitch.

	I tried the new release of links. It's ok and the speed seems good: I am not able to calculate it exactly because I use a wireless connection (through tp-link tl-MR3020) and therefore depends on the signal strength of the place. However, it takes the line immediately. thanks,andrea

Hi, I made a quick test of new links, some notes:
* I got this error message on startup: "Error setting receiver mode: An invalid receiver mode was specefied", maybe some cfg value needs to be changed
* browsing history is saved properly and can be used before links exit but then never loads in new session. I tried to delete the history file and it was created again but didn't load
* some images are heavily upscaled as you can see on this shot http://rayer.g6.cz/1tmp/links2.jpg, compared to Mozilla here http://rayer.g6.cz/1tmp/mozilla.png
All this issues I had also with old version from 2014, so nothing new. File download speed ~330kB/s @6MB file.

Actually it's in developping stage of links 3.0 , so can be patch this issues.
