CLS Command ?! (Users)

cls on freedos does not clean the screen but only moves the prompt up why?

Not sure, haven't looked. Is it trying ANSI escapes or doing something video-card specific?

IIRC, years ago, Mateusz patched it for his CGA/8086 machine (for Svarog86 ??). Re-reading some old 2015 email implies yes, see SF.net here. Also, there I mentioned some other CLS patches.

But also make sure (if you can) to also try the latest prerelease (0.84-pre7 from Dec. 2019) on Github.
