	There's an encoding issue in Issue 2: "Tetris" (hm, the forum doesn't seem to like the original Cyrillic - previews, but won't submit). It seems you have curly quotes in UTF-8 converted as characters to CP1251 converted back to UTF-8.

On Robert's recommendation I read the 2025 June issue of this magazine. The computer rooms story especially appealed to me albeit I never experienced anything like it my self.

The 11th issue of Elpis Zine is out now!

After a short summer break and an unexpected pause due to illness, the new issue has finally been released. This time it is special — the entire edition was prepared by a new editor. A woman writes for women and about women, sharing a deeply personal and autobiographical perspective.

The issue explores the formation of the computer age through the eyes of women who were directly involved in the development of computer technology, industry, design, and the rise of the modern Internet.

The focus is on personal stories and reflections. Readers may already know the new editor from her articles in past issues, but now she takes the lead for the entire zine.

Hello everyone. Yesterday, my city, Ternopil, was attacked. The explosions occurred not far from me, about 400 meters away. Currently, they are reporting 26 dead, including children. Some people were burned alive. It happened yesterday at 7:20 am. We've been plagued by power outages for a month now, and recently it's gotten even worse. Now I can only get in touch to answer messages. After yesterday, my hands are shaking, and the apartment still smells of plastic. The fire was so bad we could see it over the horizon.

Now, about the pressing issue: until this all stops, I don't know when the next magazine will be published. The hosting is still being administered, and everything is fine there. That person is safe and working.

I won't show photos or videos here—those who care about the events in Ukraine have either already seen them or can watch the news.

And a request: the magazine's address contains links to support the magazine. I want to raise money for a generator for the victims. If you care, please share my link where there are people. Unfortunately, my options are limited right now. https://elpis.ws/cgi-bin/cms/support
