"FreePascal From Square One" e-book by Jeff Duntemann... (Announce)

In case any Free Pascal users here find this useful: ;-)

https://www.contrapositivediary.com/?p=5399

"... FreePascal from Square One, a 354-page PDF providing an introduction to programming, using the FreePascal FOSS compiler and the Lazarus IDE for editing and building. I need to mention here that the book does not go into Windows programming, OOP, software components, or the Lazarus GUI builder."

Thank you!

More a Turbo Pascal than a Free Pascal user, but thanks anyway! :-D

I added a TOC to the PDF (using pdftocio) and sent it to Jeff for publishing.

Jeff finally got in touch with me and released a new PDF with some fixes and my TOC.

New Release of FreePascal from Square One in PDF – Jeff Duntemann's Contrapositive Diary

> I didn’t create this TOC, though I realize now I’d better learn more about PDF internals and how to create and change them. No, Contra reader Robert Riebisch built the TOC for me and installed it into the most recent release, which I edited a little this morning and present to you as the update for 9-13-2025.
