Vogons.org offline since 6/20/25? (Announce)

Anybody else Vogons has been offline with an nginx 403 error? I don't I've been able to see it since last Friday.

It didn't work, opened the Network Monitor and reloaded, still didn't work, tried with cURL, did work, now it works in the browser. Maybe I had just amazing timing that it came back between tries.

Oh....that's so weird. Maybe Chrome is getting blocked? Based on your tests, I tried

Chrome: fail
Chrome Private Window: fail
Firefox: ok
wget: ok
curl: ok
Chrome Private Window+Developer Tools: ok
Chrome Developer Tools: ok
Chrome: ok


Why would they browser sniff? Or maybe it was errant cookie that caused 403??? Thanks for the tips. All better now.

Loads fine on this (older, unsupported since 2022) Chromebook.

* Most user friendly Programming Language, Tools and IDE for developing software for DOS in 2019+?
