Far Manager version 1.80 goes open source (Announce)

"Starting from October 26th 2007 the unicode development version of Far Manager 1.80 is distributed with its source code under the revised BSD license. We hope that with the help of our community this long awaited project will spring to life."

Download: ? (I didn't find any binaries so far.)

Maybe it can be made compatible to HX now. Japheth? ;-)

Doubt it. Besides, Unicode's probably the biggest stumbling block, I'd imagine.

P.S. Japheth is free to do what he wants with his time and energy. I don't personally want to use FAR, but I wouldn't hold him back if he wanted to get it working. ;-)
