p7zip is 7k bigger, hopefully faster (untested by me so far), but it still uses PMODSTUB. :-P

Links got bigger too. I wouldn't expect p7zip to get any faster...it's probably the slowest of all the archivers, on any OS :)

It's still much faster than UHARC -mx or any variant of PAQ8. I think the ultimate speed options for 7-Zip are "-mx1 -m0=bzip2". (It's Deflate is more optimal than others, i.e. creates smaller files, but it's a little slower due to that.)

2008-06-25 Elinks compilation from Michael Kostylev

(New compilation, not new version)

2008-06-25:
Elinks browser v0.13-20080425

Change? This part of the 22 June README.DOS file is not in the 25 Jun file:

* A packet driver is necessary for offline browsing. This requirement may be removed in the future but currently, due to lack of working pipe(2), which is required for interprocess communication, a stripped down socketpair(2) implementation is used as a simple workaround.

I would guess not. Else why bother writing code and inflating the EXE?
