HX: Request + "Bug" report (Announce)

Hi Japheth,

I decided to add HX to the possible DOS Extenders usable for NDN.

So I tried around and now have one request and found a small bug:

Request:
Add LE/LX support.
This is because VP and it's DPMI32 implementation (which was not
officially supported by VP) requires a LE file for finishing the make
process.

I don't know if that's something you ever considered or will consider,
but this is (at the moment) mandatory for me to be able to use HX.

Of course I could work on changing the current VP LE support into PE/PX,
but I don't have the time to work on this, also, the current implementation
works great with all other extenders.

"Bug":
Using PESTUB with the -x option changes the NEWEXE id of the executable
from PE to PX.
The problem is that PESTUB doesn't work anymore after this change with
this executable, but I think it should and can't think of any reason why it
shouldn't support PX images as well.

Regrettably I also don't have the time to work on this.

I'll put it onto my "todo" list. Most likely it is a trivial change.

IIRC I had suggested this already centuries ago ... maybe in previous BTTRR forum or King Udo's forum ;-)

.if ((eax != "EP") && (eax != "XP")) ; XP only ? Or want test for "ME" also

Changing PX back to PE would be cool also ... slightly less trivial, but maybe not fully impossible :-|
