Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup 0.5 released (Announce)

The Crawl-Ref developers have released Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup 0.5 on 12 June 2009.

Due to various issues on the developers' ends, no pre-built DOS package exists (and rebuilding from source apparently needs G++ 4.2.3 or older as well as deleting all .PNGs and Makefile.dep from the Linux-made source archive). But you can get a DOS .EXE from here and put it atop the Win32 console .ZIP package, and it will work. Report bugs at Sourceforge, post at news://rec.games.roguelike.misc, and/or make comments in IRC (freenode.net) under ##crawl.
