Bochs 2.4.5 (Announce)

Just noticed and thought you guys might be interested :

Bochs 2.4.5 is out (25 Apr 2010) !

Noticeable change : many CPU options can now be enabled/disabled at run time rather than having to recompile. Bueno !

Going to download the official windows build - let's check if it still works under Japheth's HX extender ...

Looks good, I'll test in DOS (but MMX and above, no 80386 or 8086 emulation ...)

Bochsing 2.4.5 in DOS

+ it runs in DOS
+ no new problems detected

- XDMA still doesn't work
. unknown whether XDMA still can cause the BIG mess as it used to do
- trouble with VESA (as it used to be, VGA seems to work)
. no performance tests
. no CPUID control test
