Just some research about the name "E. R. Videki" (Developers)

Death is a part of life. It happens. So I wasn't that surprised. However ...

The link above (Orlando Sentinel) from rr mentions this:

> Survivors: sons, Edwin R., Morgan Hill, Calif.

And if you check OBERNM12.ZIP's README at the bottom, it says this:

So I'm actually "guessing" it was his father and not him. Actually, for years I always thought 1.1 was the last version until I stumbled across 1.2 (which fixed my two main gripes, thankfully) despite me never having actually used the dang thing until recently (year or such ago). BTW, I read online somewhere that he used Turbo Pascal to make this, no huge surprise there.

BTW, there are newer versions of the Oberon language, usually Oberon-2 (added a few things, most popular dialect) and recently Oberon-07 (removed a lot, added a few, 2007-present). However, the original is still worth using, IMO.
