Norton Utilities 5.01 Error Messages (Users)

That would probably be preferable to trying to repartition the drive.

So, this morning I copied all the NU 8 files from my Windows PC onto a set of four floppies.

Now, I guess I should copy all the those files onto my DOS laptop into a directory named something like INSTALL.NU8.

Was NU8 originally distributed on floppies? If so, are we going to have to try to recreate the contents of the orginal distribution floppies? Or can we manage with all the files in a single directory, which is the way I got them from the web?

As I'm typing this I just realized that I forgot to copy the sub-directory UPDATE onto a floppy, so I'll do that tomorrow.

That UPDATE sub-directory contains these files:

06/25/1994 04:08 PM 390 FILE_ID.DIZ
06/14/1994 07:30 PM 1,962,583 NU8.EXE
08/12/1992 06:00 AM 76,981 PATCH.EXE
06/02/1994 07:37 PM 1,529 README.UPD

06/14/1994 11:29 AM 2,023 UPDATE.BAT

That's as far as I've managed to get today.
