Quake1 and Quake2 now support 3DFX in DOS! (Announce)
Nice, I must also try again my 3Dfx Voodoo 1, I have it still in my old PPro 200 PC...
BTW I was trying to play multiplayer with latest Q2DOS, connected to some server with real players and found it's f*cking laggy. It may be hundreds of ms. I was almost dead by rocket or railgun before I can see something. Also it was quite hard to kill someone with this guns. In singleplayer it's not problem I have enough FPS. Network connection is also fast but the driver or wattcp stack or Q2D itself code slow down it to near unplayable level. I played on real HW, maybe in emulator it's better but this loose point to run in emulator where can run native.
---
DOS gives me freedom to unlimited HW access.
