Development of MPlayer DOS port stopped - really ??? (Announce)

IMHO Cvidix port is mature enough. The only problem still unsolved is lack of support for modern sound cards.

Edit: Did you try to run mplayer with "-vo vesa:vidix -fs" switch? There is no need to set a graphic video mode before, and the video output is flawless.
