Mik's website is not functioning and hasn't been for some time.
I think he is in the throes of the last year at university and too tied up
to do anything else.

I use Arachne, Lynx, Links2 (graphical and text) and Elinks.

For Links2 you need to have a working wattcp.cfg in the same directory
(\bin if that is where yours is).

This is the .bat file I use to invoke Links2:

d:                                 ;;  change to drive
call ram1.bat                      ;;  creates a RAM drive and puts %temp% on it
cd\test\links\bin                  ;;  cd to \bin
set RANDFILE=noise586.exe          ;;  tells Links where to get seed data for SSL use
set TTY_SCREEN_INTFACE=direct      ;;  sets up screen (as advised by Mik)
rtspkt 0x60 -m auto                ;;  load DOS packet driver
links.exe %1 %2 %3 %4 %5           ;;  invokes links.exe
rtspkt -u                          ;;  on exit, removes packet driver from memory
set RANDFILE=                      ;;  removes that environment parameter
set TTY_SCREEN_INTFACE=            ;;  same for that one, too
call unram.bat                     ;;  removes the RAM disk

Note: noise586.exe is loaded at boot. I can post it on my website if anyone
wants it. It loads high and is very small.

Jennifer, if you are looking for a text browser, then I have found Elinks to
be the more stable one. Both Links2 and Elinks handle SSL.

If you want a graphical DOS browser, then Arachne is the best.
