YES.

TIFF is very complicated and messy, and useful in very rare cases only,
no PNG is much better here.

There is little use for AGIF in a library, and it would be difficult to implement,
since "displaying" an AGIF would mean "playing", thus something would have
to "run" all the time. LXPIC and DISPLAY already can play AGIF.
