FlWriter version 1.1 available (Announce)

Georg -

V1.1 is looking/working better! However, i'm not able to create PDF files. Even with just a few lines of text, the program displays the following error message:

  The print file could not be created!

I unzipped both the basic and extension packages to their default directory on my D: drive, which created D:\FLWRITER\ and the respective subdirs.

Some other feedback (unrelated to above):

o The Esc key is darned EVIL!!! When used to escape from a menu item, it terminates FlWriter... back to command line... unexpected... ouch....

o Dialog boxes show path separaters as forward slashes (rather than back slashes) -- cosmetic... but unix-y, not DOS-ish! (I always find this kind of startling/confusing whenever i see it.) But again, *greatly* appreciate the conversion to short file names.

o File > Save File removes blank lines between paragraphs. (Because i didn't put a space character there?) A little quirky to have to do that.
