DOS version of DMDE would be far from useless, since it apparently can read and restore from NTFS filesystem, just as Testdisk. It is always good to have more DOS recovery utilities at hand. I had never heard of DMDE before, so thanks to Laaca for letting us know about it. I guess you would need SD card driver to read from SD cards directly, but does DMDE not have built-in such capability?
