This can't be a general problem, because it works for me. JWasm happens to supply a makefile for BCC, and I can run this makefile in FreeDOS (good idea to install a cache before trying this). The compiler spits out a lot of warnings, but it does so in Win32 as well. The JWasm binary which is finally created runs without problems.
