Thanks for letting me know. I did try DOSBox a while ago, but it doesn't support long file names, so isn't a lot of use to me or other GVFM users. Note that GVFM's timers will not work properly under DOSBox either: You might find that scrollbars scroll much too quickly and stuff like that.

No it's not. I've just found that it's a display bug: select some files using [Shift]+[Down], then move further down the file list using [Ctrl]+[Down]. Now force a redraw either by moving the browser window with the mouse, or by pressing [F8]. You should find that you suddenly have a "gap" in the selected files.
